¿Who is Javi Jimenez?
A Costa Rican solo artist who will surely grab the attention of indie-pop fans. Characterized by his catchy music, and his seemingly inexhaustible energy and stage presence in his live shows.
He began his solo career in 2020 when he released his first three singles, which earned her a nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at Costa Rica’s Music Awards.
He released his first EP in 2022, which was nominated for Pop Record of the Year, and then opened for Carlos Sadness on his international tour, allowing him to grow his fan base and establish himself as one of the most promising artists in Costa Rican pop. At the same time, his audience outside his home country continued to grow, with the United States even surpassing Costa Rica in the number of listeners on Spotify.
His catalogue has now grown to over 170,000 plays on streaming platforms, and his single “Flowers” was nominated for Pop Song of the Year at the 2024 Costa Rican Music Awards. Javi continues to release music steadily, play live shows across his country, and working on new material.
